What happens when you save the world
for all the wrong reasons?
The Story (so far)
Future Man is a sharp, electrifying rock musical about a man who crash-lands from the future with no memory and a newspaper clipping warning of a coming earthquake. When he alerts the world, saves thousands, and becomes a hero, it seems like destiny, until he remembers why he really came: to win the lottery and add to the empire that will one day become him.
As the skyscrapers rise and tidal waves crash, Future Man hurtles through a world of wealth, power, and moral reckoning, forced to confront the people he saves and the person he becomes. At its heart is a working-class hero left behind by the system, and a love that challenges our protagonist to choose: will he change the future, or complete the cycle that makes him the ruthless billionaire he is destined to become?
Blending propulsive rock with intimate ballads, dark humor, and high-stakes sci-fi spectacle, Future Man is a time-bending, conscience-shaking journey about wealth, accountability, and the price of a second chance.
Why This Story Now?
In an era of staggering wealth disparity, environmental upheaval, and power structures that protect the few, Future Man rips open questions of what it means to “save the world” when you’re the one who broke it. It is a human story wrapped in time travel, designed to resonate with audiences hungry for bold new musicals that entertain while reflecting the world we live in.
Seeking A Collaborator
I’m looking for a collaborator—a bookwriter who is passionate about rock musicals with sci-fi guts and a human core. This project has a few songs already written, a compelling story skeleton, and clear thematic drive, but I am looking for a creative partner to help break it and shape it into its full stage potential.
If you’re interested in exploring Future Man, reach out. Let’s build something loud, urgent, and unforgettable.
